A plethora of treatment options available, a significant portion of the hypertensive population has uncontrolled blood pressure. The development of new drugs and devices/procedures to treat hypertension and its comorbidities will be discussed in this. There are 2 important interventional approaches, one is baroreflex activation therapy and the second is transcatheter renal denervation, are used for severe treatment resistant hypertension.
